Dwarf Siberian Kale grows throughout the colder season, giving you a harvest of healthy and flavorful kale for use in green salads and cooked dishes.

Heirloom Dwarf Siberian Kale Planting Instructions:
- Sowing – Plant your seeds approximately 3 months before your area's expected last fall frost.
- Depth – Bury your seeds about 1/2 to 1 inch into the soil.
- Spacing – Keep a distance of 3 feet between each seed and set your rows 18 to 20 inches apart.
- Lighting – Ideally, your kale wants full sunlight; but it can handle a bit of shade, too.
- Rotation – Avoid planting it (or other cole plants) in the same spot more frequently than every 3 to 4 years.
- Patience – You should see a fully grown kale plant in around 70 days.
Heirloom Dwarf Siberian Kale Harvesting Instructions
- Timing – Wait until just after the first frost to start your harvest.
- Picking Leaves – Look for bright green, fresh leaves; these are perfect for cooking or salads.
- Leaf Size – Outer leaves are ripe for picking when they're between 8 and 10 inches long.
- Growth – To encourage continual growth, avoid picking the center leaves.
- Resilience – Your kale will keep thriving until temperatures fall below 20°F.
- Taste Tip – Kale leaves develop a sweeter taste after exposure to frost.
